Nothing like hands on experience! Yep, my sons often tell people how THEY helped build our camp. It's a proud thing and a good lesson

Make sure you install them boys a proper skinning pole outside.

You can make a folding bunk over the wheel wells that is held up by chains on each end anchored to the wall, or a swivel leg on each corner. Fold up when not in use for more floor space

That's the plan Rambow. I'll have the top bunk fold down against the wall making both bunks into a sofa. And maybe the bottom bunk fold up against the top bunk putting them both against the wall for more room. I'll have to see how complicated it gets.

I haven't hung one in a few years. I Womack them but take it bit further and debone them on the ground instead of quarter them. It easier and quicker for me. At my cousins camp they had one on the skinning rack and I did mine on the ground and finished before them. And they started 1st. I may make a table to make it easier on my back.

I'll put a pulley in a tree if I have to cape one out. I caped Kalebs out last year while laying on the 4 wheeler trailer. It wasn't fun.

Yep, slept many a night with my head next the the window when I was young. You'd wake up during the night cold.

Yep I remember those nights with the ole attic fan running and the windowa open. That was back in the day where you didn't even lock the doors at night. A lot has changed since then.

Gutter. Got a 24x31 carport on order that the camp will be parked under. We had the same water setup for 15 years at our last camp. Throw a swimming pool chlorine tablet in it every now and then to keep the algea down, depending on the size you may only need a half tablet.

Why did you not buy a used RV? At least you are teaching the boys some hard work nets results. Gonna be some pride in that camp.

A new rv will cost more and be made with space taking things I don't need and be cheaply made. A used one would be the same just older with more problems but cost less than a new one but I'd probably have to put money into it.
