Got a late night call from my Bro on Saturday to see if I was free Sunday AM to make a pass in the marsh. Haven't fished all year so I said heck yeah! Got to our honey hole & it was full of big reds. There were huge schools of pogies in the pond so that's what the reds were after. 1st cast I hooked a fish but broke off. Ended up with 3, 2 were over 27" & most of the fish we were seeing were big, over 27". Can only keep 1 over 27" per man so we moved to another area with rat-reds & drum. Caught a few small throw-backs then headed in. Was a nice fun trip! Quite possibly the smallest red I've ever hooked!

Looks like a fun trip, love the golden red colors of them when they are in the marsh. Thats a classic "rat red" right there.
