Can't take this heat anymore, time for a break! Packed up the camper and we headed N/E to the mountains of Virginia for a week then down to Gatlinburg for 4-5 days. Time to play in the 59 degree creeks and hang out in the mountains. Attachments:

Man it's so nice to be out in the morning and not be smothered by the heat and humidity. Guy next to me from Maryland was complaining that it was hot and humid, I just had to laugh. Attachments:

I was welding from 1-230. I melted more than the metal. Think Kaleb clamped the ground to my leg!

Y'all enjoy! We just got back from San Antonio. Was hot but no humidity and had a good breeze blowing the entire time. Was good to get away but I'm glad to be home.

Don't know when you are headed home but I had 2 guess leave the house yesterday at different times headed back to La and was stuck in that construction for hours. Take the bay St. Louis exit to hwy 90 to get around it. It's bad!

They got run off the beach ar 3:00 by a thunderstorm and got stuck in traffic around Slidell. Took them 4 hrs to get home.

Well we spent the last 4 days at a state park campground in Virginia at 4500ft. 65 deg in the morning and a high of 76 degrees. Lost cell service 1 mile off of I-80 and never picked a signal back up until we hit I-80 again an we were 58 miles east of the internet. No cell phone, internet or tv signal, what a great 4 days! Hiked several trails and hung out in the mountains with mother nature. Now we are in the Smokies for the next 4 days and going play with the deer and bear in Cades Cove.

I already planned to cut across from I-59 on I-20 to I-55 on the way home, won't be going through that nightmare again until they finish.
