Well Paul hunted the 1st year and it took him 45 minutes to kill a 160" monster.
Year two he let a 145" walk on 1st day and hunted a week and did not score.
Year 3 it took him 3 hours to kill anothe monster. Est. 250+ lbs. typical 10 point with a sticker that may not score. No score yet but my brother said it is his biggest. From what I could understand in the excitement it has between 22 and 24" inside spread. I will post pictures when photobucket uploads them.

Paul is either a very good or very lucky hunter. I really think he is both. Tell him congrats for me.

Wow! Congrats to him! I can't wait when the day comes that I get selected to hunt Iowa. Just started putting preference points in this year.

The best I can remember on the story is that about daylight someone must have chased about 15 deer out the north woods. (My brother was hunting the south woods). He didn't see anthing until after 9 am when he heard someone running a chain saw or a dirt bike, he couldn't tell because it didn't sound exactly like either. Deer started pouring out of the north woods again. Yeo shooters were in the group and both came directly toward Paul. There were two shooters in the group.the first was the one he shot and the second was a giant 8 point estimated at 150". That deer was at 15 yards. my brother chose the wide spread buck. a quick measurement on the inside spread was 22 1/2 inches.
