Thanks fellas. I also had the oppurtunity to go on a management hunt at a state park during the last week of our muzzleloader season. We were told to bring shotguns. I killed 7 doe's on that hunt. I actually killed 6 of them in about 1 1/2 minutes. I had 30 deer come busting across the snow covered field after a guy killed one. Once they hit 70 yards I started working on them. I had 3 dead before they hit the woods and killed 3 more inside the woods before they could get away. That was all with my little 20 gauge single shot H&R ultra slug hunter with a 4x12x50 nikon scope on her. I also killed another right before dark. It was a great hunt. Had a smile on my face from about 3:30 pm on. I have a few pics that I will try and upload. I never got a pic of all the deer together since my phone died before dark in this cold. I kept 4 of the 7 for myself since I was just about out of burger and that put me at 5 deer for burger in one week. It wa a great way to end the season. That big boy eluded me this year. But if all goes as planned he will be bigger next season and god willing I will be here to chase him.

yes sir... Its all processed and in the freezers now. Thank god for that hunt. I do have cropd damage permits that allow me to hunt until may 15th but I would rather get it out of the way now before the big doe's are to far along in pregnancy. It doesnt bother me to much but I would just as soon not see it if I can help it. Gonna get these pics posted tonight from home. Working now so I dont have my phone. Deffinetly made for some good eating. Even had the kids helping me out. Made some chip steaks for cheese steaks also... Gotta love a meat slicer!!!

Here are a few of the pics from that crazy night!!! The corner where I was set up... Looked like they were using it!! *lol* Right after all hell broke lose and the smoke cleared!! *lol* And there were 3 more dead in the woods out of sight. I ended the night with 7 dead. Here is my buddy with 4 of them. I donated the others since I had only 4 tags. They told us since it was a management hunt that we should shoot as many as we could and we could keep what we had tags for. The kids helping me butcher!! making some chip steak.. Makes great deer cheese steaks.. Gonna eat good this summer from the grill!! Also got a chance to get my cousins son out deer hunting this year for the first time. Stanley is 13 and this was his first deer hunt. Had this button head walk in and he did great. He was so happy. Not really sure who was more excited! For having a slow season I cant complain on my ending. I had and absolute blast and cant wait to start it over again!!!

I took it easy on him. He did help me gut the deer. I wasnt sure how well he would do with the knife I just got back from the knife guy. Its crazy sharp. Although I did smear some blood on his cheek before it was all over...
