Took my son Gabe(6) on his 1st hunt. It was slow so I shot this one from 280yds last minute. I let him do the finding and you can see by the look on his face he is ready to go again.

That's what it's all about. I took my 5 year old grandson with me this season just to sit in the box stand. He hasn't practiced shooting yet so he was just there to watch or pull the trigger while I aimed if a good one came close. We saw three that day but the only shooter was to far. We are going next week to start practicing shooting the .22 cal. and work his way up to the .243. If he is comfortable hitting the bulls eye then he will be hunting next year. I'm more ezxcited than he is.

He can shoot a youth 243 but still needs some practice. He should get his first kill next season. We may get a pig before then!
